Like A Movie Lyrics
Try to forget about
Living the good life
Free of positions
That make her feel vulnerable
She's loved and she's lost
She's bearing the cost
She seeks to find the answer for
Woke up today around
Six in the morning
Violently shaking
Remembering what she once saw
She bared it alone
Still she carried on
She seeks to find the answers for
The reason her life did not turn out
More like a movie
She's trying to forget it all
She tries to erase
She tries to replace
How it feels but I
Know she can never go home
I don't believe in anything
But I believe in you
I never trusted anyone
But somehow I trust you
And if I fall away
Someday you might find me
If I fall away
Someday...
Living the good life
Free of positions
That make her feel vulnerable
She's loved and she's lost
She's bearing the cost
She seeks to find the answer for
Six in the morning
Violently shaking
Remembering what she once saw
She bared it alone
Still she carried on
She seeks to find the answers for
More like a movie
She's trying to forget it all
She tries to replace
How it feels but I
Know she can never go home
But I believe in you
I never trusted anyone
But somehow I trust you
Someday you might find me
If I fall away
Someday...

gabe lives a town over from me- he used to be pretty good friends with my best friends brother. we always see him around which rocks cuz they rock. this song was actually on the radio the other day- i know a lot of people get scared of mainstream and all, but its the same music as it was before things got big- gotta love midtown.
Off their April release "Living Well Is The Best Revenge"... not 100% sure of the lyrics, but it's pretty damn close.
you were pretty close with the lyrics on this one, but this song has great lyrics overall. it's a pretty nifty song with pretty nifty lyrics.
This song means a lot to me and I can fully relate to it. It's about a girl, obviously, who is wondering why her life wasn't more like a movie. Dur. She's tried to make it so and "erase" her past to make her life more movie-like but she can't forget it. But she can't ever go back to the way that it used to be. I can totally relate... why can't life be like a movie? When it says,
"She's loved and she's lost,"
I can relate... i know that i'm loved. BUt i'm lost and i don't know where to go. That's at leaset what the song means to me.
oh- and you can get the lyrics off their site which is SO much better than their last one. Even though their last one rawked ;)

Probably my fav song on Living Well... it's awesome! ;]
I know that everyone likes Midtown. I read in a couple of different interviews that they are stuck-up assholes. Gabe said that Midtown was just his hobby and if they didn't big he would break up the band. Also, Gabe was partially behind Dashboard leaving drivethru records. He also told Finch a bunch of lies about the drivethru owners. To sum things up: Midtown = great music Gabe = asshole that bites that hand that feeds him a.k.a. Drivethru Records. I still like both cds
@newfoundfinch I know I\'m responding 20 years later but this comment didn\'t age well XD
