This song means a lot to me and I can fully relate to it. It's about a girl, obviously, who is wondering why her life wasn't more like a movie. Dur. She's tried to make it so and "erase" her past to make her life more movie-like but she can't forget it. But she can't ever go back to the way that it used to be.
