Tan/Black Lyrics
Color it tan
Color it black
I think they both go nicely
Coloring man, stop stuttering man
You fall on the floor, it goes nicely
But what were you thinking it's July
You're gonna ride it
You're gonna ride it out
I know that I'm sorry but I lied
I think it might be worth it now
And it might be worth it now
Right on
Color it black
I think they both go nicely
Coloring man, stop stuttering man
You fall on the floor, it goes nicely
But what were you thinking it's July
You're gonna ride it
You're gonna ride it out
I know that I'm sorry but I lied
I think it might be worth it now
And it might be worth it now
Right on

Well Black and Tan's were bars in the twenties and the big deal is that black and white's were ACCEPTED(Opposed to 'allowed') so going nicely, -pro desegregation... the rest I am in the dark
I guess in July the bars in the '20s were really hot! haha So.. Maybe that was an excuse to not go... And then in the '60s it was more acceptable to say it was worth it.. Hence the "Right On"?!?!?! haha. Okay I'm making this up as I go along. Nothing to see here.
