I feel right all the time
I am right all the time

Well, oh well let's call it quits
Runaway forever
Cut me some slack
It's my side of the mountain

Well, oh well let's call it quits
Right away if I could
And if I might
It's my side of the bed

I color the sky with you
I let you choose the blue

I think it's talking about being in a relationship but still loving yourself and having that person love you for who you are and not changing for them, but still doing everything for them. It's a great song.

I think this is my favorite song on My Solo Project. Songs about marriage! oh, it's so simple, but I think that just makes it better.

I always thought they were talking about mistakes and critics. "I feel right all the time/ I am right all the time" but in reality she is not because everyone needs an editor. In other words everyone makes mistakes. But maybe thats just me.

The part "runaway forever, cut me some slack, it's my side of the mountain" has got to be a reference to the book and movie "My Side of the Mountain" where the boy runs away from home, and finds a better life living on his own in the wilderness.,

I met my wife while listening to My Solo Project constantly, and this song was on the first mixtape (yes, an actual tape) I ever made her. For me, it's all about how we all think we're right, we all think we know what's best for us. But when you meet someone who makes you feel for more than yourself, "us" becomes something else. In other words, 2 > 1 + 1 and 2 < 1 + 1 at the same time.
