i love this song

i hear slightly different lyrics in some spots in this song...for example, i thought it was "survived, alive, you are my enemy, you die with lies, slave to misery" and "self sacrifice everyone you meet, screaming demons in my veins." But i don't know. Don't really care either. This is a great song.

It's clear that the lyrics shown are lyrics of a different version of "Possesion". I only know of 3 versions("Jihad" version, "Sevas Tra" version & Demo version).

I dunno, I like otep's music and all, woman I think is a good vocalist. but I'll be damned if I'd give her credit as the "poet" she seems to have appointed herself as. she's more of a rapper as the style is more for the flow with the music as it is creatively written. She's as poetic as ICP's lyrics. just my opinion though, every one to their own I guess.

Man this song rocks! It's just cool that it seems that there is a ritual built into this song. As if each and every time she is singing this song she calls the spirits all around her.

Oh and I'm too braindead today to decipher this song LOL. Battle Ready took all my energy. I'll come back...
