There's an apple in the pussy mouth
Now I am the dinner whore
There's a tumor in the TV mouth
Burn it out before it grows
Someone better get the dog to kick
Jaws wired shut to save the dick
Out of the bottomless pit
Comes the little horn

Little horn is born
Little horn is born
Little horn is born
Little horn is born

World spread its legs for another star
World shows its face for another scar

Dead will dance for what is left
Worms will wait with bated breath
"The blind have now become my deaf"
So says the little horn

Save yourself from this
Save yourself from this
Save yourself from this
Save yourself

World spread its legs for another star
World shows its face for another scar

Everyone will suffer now
Everyone will suffer now
Everyone will suffer now
Everyone will suffer now
You can't save yourself
You can't save yourself
You can't save yourself
You can't save yourself

World spread its legs for another star
World shows its face for another scar

Ok. I've been researching the whole story from Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals and Holy Wood, and I just got this album. This is what I found on Wikipedia:

"The Rise and Fall of Little Horn

Antichrist Superstar Shock logo. The characters in Antichrist Superstar are as follows:

"The Worm": The main character. "The Superstar": A rock star the Worm used to worship. "Little Horn": The Antichrist. Cycle I - The Heirophant – The story begins with "Irresponsible Hate Anthem". It is most likely a concert of some sort that the Worm is attending. After the concert, the Worm gets to meet the Superstar of the band, who promptly tells the character to basically "fuck off" ("The Beautiful People"). The Worm doesn't care about life anymore ("Dried Up, Tied and Dead to the World"). The Superstar was most likely his only hero and the only person that he ever liked. "Tourniquet" could be a song about the Worm and the Superstar and how broken he is after being told off.

Cycle II - Inauguration of the Worm – The Worm goes insane ("Little Horn"). Little Horn is said to be the Anti-Christ, and it is forming inside the Worm. The Worm is feeling of no importance anymore ("Cryptorchid"). The Worm is now starting to hate everything ("Wormboy"). Little Horn is growing more powerful inside of him. "Mister Superstar" contains the last words to the Superstar from the Worm before Little Horn appears. Empowered by Little Horn, the Worm kills the Superstar. "Angel with the Scabbed Wings", a song about poseurs, could be a metaphor for Little Horn posing as a human. The Worm and Little Horn then have a conversation about being an angel with scabbed wings ("Kinderfeld").

Cycle III - Disintegrator Rising – In "Antichrist Superstar", Little Horn is out, and he's introducing himself to the world. Little Horn ravages Earth, destroying everything with the hate the Worm had growing inside him ("1996"). Nothing much is left on Earth except the Worm and Little Horn ("Minute of Decay"). In "The Reflecting God", The Worm realizes what has happened. Little Horn tells him what he had to do and now The Worm is regretting it. "Man That You Fear" marks the ending, in which The Worm realizes that Little Horn's destruction of the world did nothing but make him worse. The Worm now understands everything, but it doesn't matter anymore since he let Little Horn gain control and let him destroy the world. Now it feels like to the Worm that he is stuck in a dream."

Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
