Skinny Jean Lyrics
Yeah you got knee high boots to hide focaccia fruit
You better think twice about the soy milk drink babe
You got a patent handbag and solid state rags
You wont think twice about the bill will you baby
Should I be the one to say that you don't need it
Skinny Jean crushed a kenyan roast bean
Raoul devours another organic buffet
They're so preservative free to keep their smokescreen
Should I be the one to say that you don't need that
Style guide never would proclaim that you don't need it
They say you like it sundried tell me is that right
They say you like it sundried tell me is that right
Skinny Jean loves brazilian roast beans
Raoul wood fires a tandoori pizza today
Special filter gonna keep them both out of harms way
Should I be the one to say that you don't need that
Too tired to survive the day a brew might fix it
Skinny Jean we'll all die sometime
They say you like it sundried tell me am I right again
You better think twice about the soy milk drink babe
You got a patent handbag and solid state rags
You wont think twice about the bill will you baby
Raoul devours another organic buffet
They're so preservative free to keep their smokescreen
Style guide never would proclaim that you don't need it
They say you like it sundried tell me is that right
Raoul wood fires a tandoori pizza today
Special filter gonna keep them both out of harms way
Too tired to survive the day a brew might fix it
They say you like it sundried tell me am I right again

this song definitely highlights the 'health-freak' fad of today. that many people will just buy things regardless of the price to uphold their public appearance/image. also i know its obvious but the term/item 'skinny jean' accurately reflects on the need to fit into certain-sized clothing such as skinny jeans which are known for being tight, uncomfortable, and primarily seen on slim people. i love this song so much the melody is epiccccccccc and the meaning (for me) can definitely link to the societal standards of today.
