i think this got on Triple J's hottest 100 a few years back, and with good reason. It's a bloody good song. I 'm not entirely sure about the entire song, but it feels like they're trying to lend a hand to someone who is stuvk in a place when they would rather see the world...
This is an awesome song....to me it's about living your life vicariously through someone
Love powderfinger... Im never entirely sure what the lyrics mean but the sing them loads well
to me... this is about living a life as a passenger. doing what others do, get carried along in the carriage of a culture or a way of life. Your worth or life is framed by a picket fence and salary! Great line and riff.
