1st) Blackbird is right, Dexter's got a Bachelors and Masters in Molecular Biology, but didn't finish his PhD. Too bad, he could have had...Dexter's Laboratory? hahaha
2nd) It's not a hand grenade in the normal sense. It's called a Molotov cocktail, and it's more of a firebomb or an incendiary. Rioters throw them a lot.
3rd) Don't make any, because they're illegal.
4th) I'm pretty sure you don't need a degree in molecular biology to figure out how to put gas in a bottle, stuff it with a rag, and light it. It's about as sophisticated as a stick with a nail in the end.

its just telling you how to make a hand grenade, i mean dexter/bryan has a phd in bio-chemistry or something like that so it should be right if anyone is interested in making a hand grenade....

Ok since Dexter has a Phd in bio-chemistry why is he a musician? He'd be better off as a bio-chemist... but i dunno... that's what makes these guys different

First of all, the song is called hand grenades... it's about making hand grenades... from common things around the house. Second, Dexter was a microbiologist (never finished), so I don't think he's showing off his knowledge. I really think he just thinks it's cool to destroy stuff for fun.
Ohh, the fast part of the song is SO off. It should be this:
"Okay, now take an old beer bottle Fill it up with gasoline Some paint thinner for good measure And a sprinkle of manganese Now stuff a sock into the top With a zippo you'll be king, yeah!"
And for a song that only lasts like 30 seconds, it's damn awesome.
Dexter has a Ph.D in Microbiology.... and it lasts for 36 seconds. The lyrics are wrong too. Great band.
