i'm actually surprised that no one has commented on the guano apes...i adore them! But just in case anyone actually reads these...then there are a couple wrong lyrics...first part where she sings i'm an absolute beginner and i need to "admit"...and the second part i'm an absolute "sinner" and i need to commit...not a big deal :) And i finally know that she said what a dirty shirt...i could never figure that part out.

Guano Apes music is so.. powerful... the lyrics have really deep meaning, about trip of one's soul about feelings that are deeper inside... anyway thats my opinion...
I've always been a big fan of Guano Apes music; and though I had good contacts with Sandra the singer/writer, I've never dare to ask her about her lyrics. Sandra is great poet; she always wraps her songs with big meanings... Though I dont know the truly meaning behind Wash it Down I have a guess...
"Wash it down"; when people got bad sexual experiences such as raping for example; you want to shower the dirt of you...
it sounds to me like a wet teeshirt contest. i love the wildly esoteric interpretations.
