I think this song is Jesse saying, "whether or not you believe in an efter life, doesn't really matter, when you die you will realise it's all true", what ever the meaning, it still kicks huge amounts of ass.

Jesus is said to be the light of the world...he came onto this earth as a human. i possibly think thats where he might be going with the circle of light bit, because circles represent eternity.
