everytime I have this song on "pump up the volume mode" in my car I anxiously wait for "every single day i got the white man working for me, harry truman" part cuz with black folk around me I feel a little unnerved. thank you, for giving me the chance to appear try being black without wearing lugs and wearing sean john clothing.

One of my favorite songs....harry truman was president during the end of WW2 and beginning of Korea.

I believe this song is meant to be racist. The verses are made up of black stereotypes, and the chorus' "Every single day I've got the white man working for me" line might refer to affirmative action giving minorities an unfair advantage in the workforce. Also, Harry Truman strongly supported civil rights and affirmative action, which would relate him to this idea.

yeh i never really thought about the meaning of this song but kickerofelves interpretation sounds possible. This is definietly one of my favorite MSI songs...right up there with "kill the rock"

I think this song is definitely about race but not necessarily in a racist way against black people. black people are not given an unfair advantage, anyways.
