Hey its alright my life has never been a bed of roses
This way's better for me
Hey its alright my life has never been a bed of roses
This way's better for me i dont' care to live the life i've chosen
Anyway
Anyway
Hey its alright my life has always been a sad emotion
Don't feel sorry for me.
Hey its alright my life has always been a sad emotion
Don't feel sorry for me feeling sorry's been my lifes devotion
Anyway
Anyway
Hey its alright my life has never been a bed of roses
This way's better for me i dont' care to live the life i've chosen
Hey its alright my life has always been a sad emotion
Don't feel sorry for me feeling sorry's been my lifes devotion
Anyway
Anyway
Screw you, the sentiments the same my friend
Screw you, the sentiments the same it always was

Screw you, the sentiments the same my friend
Screw you, the sentiments the same it always was

My life has never been a bed of roses
my life has never been a bed of roses
my life has never been a bed of roses
my life has never been a bed of roses ....

I love love LOVE MSI! it looks to me like he want to kill himself cuz his life's never been a "bed or roses" meaning it sucks but he doesnt want people to be sorry for him because they say the same thing all the time and it doesnt help.

The last two posts, frighten me. Let's get this straight. If someone seriously wants to commit suicide, they will. And they wont write a song about it, or leave a sad letter behind. Think about it. Why leave evidence behind? You're risking someone finding it and eventually stopping you or pro-longing you from commiting suicide. That's not what a real suicidal person would want, now is it? The way I see it, is if you leave something behind, or through something in someone's face about you wanting to commit suicide, you probably don't really intend to do it. You're just using that scenario as a way of really getting someone's full undivided attention. That's not to say, however, that if one does not recieve this attention, one will not suddenly sink into deeper depression, and eventually have suicidal tendencies.... ....just what in the fuck am I rambling on about? I gotta get back to work.

I agree with Soulfly about the people who say such things to get attention, but the song is a whole different story. It seems to be a note left behind by someone who already did die and the song is what's left of them to be remembered, since everything in the song is sung in past tone. The songs meaning though seems to just be a careless life where the person got no attention, no love, and had nothing so why keep going? Sadly that person didn't and now that the persons gone no one should feel sorry since they never tried anything before.

I think it's kinda like saying, His life has never been easy, but it's the path he chose, so he's going to stick with it, through all the hard times, and he doesn't want anyone to feel sorry for him in any way.

I do not agree with Soulfly about talking about committing suicide only for attention. If someone is sick enough to talk about killing themself there is obviously something wrong and they need help - no matter if you think they will actually do it or not. By the time you read a suicide note it's probably to late to save that person's life. I think people who commit suicide leave notes or poems because it's not like they can go up to their loved ones and be like "I wanted to let you know I love you and I am going to kill myself." It is not left to be evidence - their dead body is evidence. Some artists write songs about it - doing it - but it's just a song. Some find suicide fascinating or frightening - or maybe just because it fits in their song. But when a person actually turns around and talks about doing it - wanting to do it - then we need to take that seriously before it's too late. If you are the person they choose to talk to about it - make it your responsibility to help them or find someone who can.

it's a song. mindless is rarely serious and when they are they still aren't. so you all wasted your time with this suicide discussion. ha ha ha. grow up a little and learn to look at things in different ways or else you may keep wasting your life on small pity trivialized things such as these. Thank you. now go to bed.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
