Do you remember those words you whispered to me
On that faithful day in Italy Mr be ?
I can hear you singing face on fire blue skies
Your eyes my beautiful liar

I'm still breathing you can't kiss me kill me darling
I know you miss me can't resist me call me Miss B
I love it when you call me Miss B.
Can you hear me talking?

Can you see me red light my lips she can never be me
She can never be me now I'm screaming what can I break?
My hearts broken
Silver lake, San Francisco, Switzerland, Lacumza, England, Budapest, Mulhouse,

June 10th, June 10th do you remember June 10th?
I can't forget June 10th
I remember when we first met
Do you remember or do you forget?

You were so perfect, so pure like an angel
You were like an angel, amen
And I remember thinking,
I remember thinking

My God my God he is just so beautiful,
So fuckin amazing and every night I would watch you,
I would watch you watching me and we swore that nothing would come between us
That none will come between us do you remember?

Ecstasy in Paris
Laying down in the middle of the street in the middle of the night
In the centre of you I was humbled by your power,
On the ninth plane

666 Acacia Avenue,
Somewhere in hell digging the hell out of you, digging the hell in you
My co conspirator, my executioner, my sacrificial lamb,
My friend, my lover, my martyr are you my enemy now?

You once asked me 'Is Existence All We Share?'
You tell me when you remember June 10th, do you remember June 10th.

I love this song! I think this song is about a emotional longing for someone. Maybe? Has anyone got any ideas?

i think its about a relationship she thought was amazing and would work out etc they traveled spent time together which was special to her but maybe in the end he left her for someone else or he left her or something...shes angry and sad and she still remembers that feeling and how she thought it would work out?

i think it's about a past relationship and now "he" is with another woman ("she can never be me"). i don't know what it is, but something in this song is just so f*cking amazing (like tairrie says it :)). i listen it over and over and it just won't get boring at all.

wow... i use to listen to this song on repeat too. This is probably my favorite my ruin song.. it use to mean a lot to me because it reminded me sooo much of someone I once knew. I'm sure it's about a past relationship ...it sounds like she's convinced he still loves her and just can't seem to move on... although he's found someone new... sad song. maybe they met on june 10th ...or fucked.

A lot of her emotional songs by that time was about Lynn Strait, Snot singer who died in 1998. They were in a relationship by some point and I guess his death really got her.

There are some references in this song that lead me to think it's about him, like "I can hear you singing, face on fire", and "Every night I would watch you, I would watch you watching me" > he was a singer like her and they used to do some concerts together. In Rockstar, that is explicitly about him, she also mentions his blue eyes ("Blue skies your eyes").

Now, maybe he cheated on her while he was still alive (obviously) and this song is about it? Idk, but I always thought this one is about him.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

American Town
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran shares a short story of reconnecting with an old flame on “American Town.” The track is about a holiday Ed Sheeran spends with his countrywoman who resides in America. The two are back together after a long period apart, and get around to enjoying a bunch of fun activities while rekindling the flames of their romance.
