No More No More Lyrics
Blood stains the ivories on my daddy's baby grand
Ain't seen the daylight since we started this band
No more, No more
No more, No more
Store bought clothes fallin' 'part at the seams
Tealeaf readin' gypsies fortune tellin' my dreams
No more, No more
No more, No more
Holiday Inn lock the door with a chain
You love it and you hate it but to me they're all the same
No more, No more
No more, No more
No more, No more
Baby I'm a dreamer, found my horse and carriage
Stalemate jailbait ladies can't refuse
You love 'em then you leave 'em with your sold out reviews
No more, No more
No more, No more
Sweet talkin' barroom ladies disease
Slippin' with her lips slidin' down your knees
No more, No more
No more, No more
No more, No more
Me and my life a screamer bound to a wife in marriage
Baby I'm a dreamer found my horse and carriage
Ladies hold the aces and their lovers call it passion
The men call it pleasure but to me it's old fashioned
Times they're a changin' nothing ever stands still
If I don't stop a changin' I'll be writtin' my will
It's the same old story never get a second chance
For a dance to the top of the hill
Baby I'm a dreamer found my horse and carriage
Ain't seen the daylight since we started this band
No more, No more
No more, No more
Tealeaf readin' gypsies fortune tellin' my dreams
No more, No more
No more, No more

Maybe this song refers to all Aeosmith had gone through....anyways is a great song
I'm thinking Kamehameha there is right, this has alot to do with all that the members of Aerosmith had gone through. Oh, by the way, this song ROCKS! One of Aerosmith's best for sure!
Mmm ditto I guess. I love this song. It's my favorite by Aerosmith. Seriously underrated.
i like the into to this song its very prog rockish like something rush might do
I'm glad someone else but me had already posted some comments about this song... Although it is one of the most underrated songs from Aerosmith I think is lovely, the melody is so sweet and I agree with you all about its meaning...
Why don't you post a comment on the "Rock in a Hard Place" songs? Again: Am I the only one who likes that album? The same with Night in the Ruts...
If it wasn't for you, the Fans, Aerosmith wouldn't exist. Make no bones about it, you guys are the lifeblood of the Band & the absolute reason why this Train keeps a'rolling. With that being said, this song is definitely one of our best (& as someone has already stated, very underrated). Enjoy this song as it is... as it was meant to be. Don't read too much into it. It's literally about the Band's beginnings... from the 1st line.... "to the top of the Hill"...& everything in between. The Band owes it all to the Fans. All the support is greatly appreciated.
I hope you are who you appear to be. This song (actually this entire album and "Rocks") was a big part of my life growing up, and still is. I only hope that you guys one day find a trove of other songs from this time period that never made it to the album (or as Joe Perry said in an interview "ones that aren't going to grow up") or dig deep and come up with a retro album and get someof that old school grit back.

I hope to pass on the memories and emotions...
I hope to pass on the memories and emotions your music has created for me to my kids.. who awesomely enough love your music too (at 5, 7 and 9!!!).
Great song. Definitely one the most underrated Aerosmith songs. I wish this song got more airplay, but every great band has a few of those hidden gems that best not get tarnished with overplay.
