If it wasn't for you, the Fans, Aerosmith wouldn't exist. Make no bones about it, you guys are the lifeblood of the Band & the absolute reason why this Train keeps a'rolling.
With that being said, this song is definitely one of our best (& as someone has already stated, very underrated).
Enjoy this song as it is... as it was meant to be. Don't read too much into it. It's literally about the Band's beginnings... from the 1st line.... "to the top of the Hill"...& everything in between.

I hope you are who you appear to be. This song (actually this entire album and "Rocks") was a big part of my life growing up, and still is. I only hope that you guys one day find a trove of other songs from this time period that never made it to the album (or as Joe Perry said in an interview "ones that aren't going to grow up") or dig deep and come up with a retro album and get someof that old school grit back.
