Sleepy Hollow (feat. Jonathan Davis) Lyrics
For you only might find
Gone take my lay
For you and I will find
Form to see my fates
I cannot ever find
Places I care for
Nothing in my mind
Bring me not far enough
All lurking you'll find
Placing not far
You're every single mind
So fine can only
For you and me will find
Basis all for me
Can you leave my mind
Bracing my fall
My every single place
Your love travelled far
Some laying with my fates
Place some never far
You're everything around
You say I'm a love
And be mine every way
Through the land
Find all I can
And form a clan
That teaches to laugh
Tears the past
Laughs at the rest
Teach the best
Defeats the rest
Forms the test
We passed all the tests
Under the sand Through the land Find all i can And form a clan That teaches to last Tears the past Laughs at the rest Beats the best Defeats the west Burns the nest We passed all the tests
Thats what Elijah's lyrics actually sound like to me.
This has to be the most evil sounding song EVER. AWESOME
awesome song, no idea what it's about though
I'm not sure how much stock I'd put in the accuracy of the lyrics just because it's so hard to understand what JD is saying. It's hard to interpret the song because of this and I really don't know what it's about. I have a vauge sense however, it could be about Nazi Germany. I thought the end part went: Under the sand Through the land Find all i can And form a clan That teaches to laugh Tears the past Laughs at the rest Beats the best Defeats the west Burns the nest We passed all the tests Evil in my mind This "clan" which "defeats the west" and "teaches the best" and "tears the past" could easily be the Nazis. And the phrase "Evil in my mind" could certainly apply as this was a government with hateful central messages at the time. Just one theory, could be way off.
Maybe it's just the geek in me talking, but does anyone else get an extremely Sith vibe from the song, as a whole?
