The Elements Lyrics
Through the mind we flee to space
As the shadows choose the place
Though afraid, my sleeper must awake
So I've used up all and left this time
Station
Towards where we're falling
Faces
Glowing blue eyes upon me
Waste us
Or make us slaves till death like the Paw-Nee
Or turn around and fake they're proud
I've found my true calling
Well beyond the mortal plane
Lies the place where one's life can be exchanged
No more conscience, no more pain
The now, the past, the future stay the same
Station
Towards where we're falling
Faces
Glowing blue eyes upon me
Waste us
Or make us slaves till death like the Paw-Nee
Or show the world exist without the day
While the tall one tries convincing us to stay and live far away
As the shadows choose the place
Though afraid, my sleeper must awake
So I've used up all and left this time
Towards where we're falling
Faces
Glowing blue eyes upon me
Waste us
Or make us slaves till death like the Paw-Nee
Or turn around and fake they're proud
I've found my true calling
Lies the place where one's life can be exchanged
No more conscience, no more pain
The now, the past, the future stay the same
Towards where we're falling
Faces
Glowing blue eyes upon me
Waste us
Or make us slaves till death like the Paw-Nee
Or show the world exist without the day
While the tall one tries convincing us to stay and live far away
This song is great, but Elijah says..."Waste us or make us slaves till death like the Paw-Nee." But lke every other Deadsy song it's full of irony and somewhat emotion. It's awesome!
"In the 19th century, epidemics of smallpox and cholera wiped out most of the Pawnee, reducing the population to approximately 600 by the year 1900; as of 2005, there are approximately 2,500 Pawnee."
