Life is a gift we forget to acknowledge
Love sees through the eyes of our grand mothers
Time passes by without consent or apology so
I will try to give back all that's been given, given

I am spirit name, dreams of fame
Layer of blame, possessed of thoughts which I cannot explain
I am clan brother, like no other
Given to smother, desires from which I can't hope to recover
I am hopes embraced, then laid to waste
Fearing the fate, of leading faith and love into disagrace
I am idden fears, house of mirrors
Both more and less than I appear
But who am I?

Strength comes to those who humbly suffer
Pain burns away the tries to earthly pleasures
Why am I blessed with gifts I've been given?
I will try to become more thankful, selfless, selfless

Iam son of cain, ego vain
Culture restained, the product of the land from which I came
I am middle ground, once lost now found
Spirit unbound, by expectations I cannot let down
I am spirit name, dreams of fame
Never to blame, I'll accept the ownership of shame
I am confronting fears, becoming clear
Understanding is near
But who am I?
Who am I?
Who am I?

This is a great song to a band that doesn't nearly get enough attention. This song to me is one of trying to be a better person and trying to figure out just who you are but can't because you keep changing

I agree with invitalis on everything he/she said. It's a very good song from a band that doesn't get a lot of recognition, cept from mostly northern saskatchewan where this band originates from.

I've seen them live twice here in Winnipeg and they were amazing. The energy, especially on this song was insane

Techno Ted
Audioslave
Techno Ted may be a person who caused Chris incredible emotional pain & trepidation as well as moments of peace & happiness but now is removed and awaiting his fate. Darling may be a different person who is also free of him and can live her life free of Ted's tyranny. "In between all the laughing, and daydreams ... lies: a desert of truth" Lies are like a desert or the omission of Truth: Where there were Lies then Truth was absent. The song, "Techno Ted", may be a cathartic celebration of the downfall of this person.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
