Let You Down Lyrics
A world without you here
An unreflecting mirror
His words were so sincere
He left you standing there
Oh, I'll never let you down
While I'm still around
His words were never meant
Your one last tear's been spent
You'll never be content
In a world as big as this
Oh, I'll never let you down
While I'm still around
When you were lost, who was it who found you
Oh, I'll never let you down
While I'm still around
Oh, you've just been found
Oh, I'll never let you down
An unreflecting mirror
His words were so sincere
He left you standing there
While I'm still around
Your one last tear's been spent
You'll never be content
In a world as big as this
While I'm still around
While I'm still around
Oh, you've just been found
Oh, I'll never let you down

This is one of the best songs on the cd! This is such a romantic song. It is every girl's dream to have a wonderful guy come rescue her from her past.
i really really like this song. it paints the picture of a very very vulnerable girl who has been broken and is afraid to love again and the writer saying you don't have to worry take it slow, ill be there for you ill never let you down. Everybody has been hurt before and this is a great song describing the pain from the other side... having to witness it.
"You'll never be content In a world as big as this"
Great lyrics! Great tune too!
I intepreted the song lyrics differently, maybe because this is sorta how a few relationships happened with me anyway, I took the song as the singer seeing a girl he liked, a girl he treated wonderfully, who he was always there for, yet she was always with somebody else, somebody who "left her standing there". Then he shows how "his words were never meant" yet he's "still around" sort of saying, this is what you've been dealing with all alone, yet I've been right here waiting.
Im still around. I'll never let you down. I meant it when I said it.
Will you believe me, please?
