Hidden Sun Lyrics
Suddenly things become unsound
Stumbling upon the shaky ground
Given arrows to shoot tornadoes down
Shoot them down
To the ground
Saw a falling leaf, for good luck jump to grab
Much to our surprise, a butterfly
Then it sunk in this enduration
In duration in our lives
Inside ourselves
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone
Shivering madly in the dark
Like an animal abandoned in the car park
And she held me and then she showed me the
Beauty of the human heart
Inside ourselves
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone
Stumbling upon the shaky ground
Given arrows to shoot tornadoes down
Shoot them down
To the ground
Much to our surprise, a butterfly
Then it sunk in this enduration
In duration in our lives
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone
Like an animal abandoned in the car park
And she held me and then she showed me the
Beauty of the human heart
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone
A hidden sun that burns and burns
But never does any harm to anyone

i always thought it was a sort of "sequel" to "Tonight is the Night I Fell Asleep at the Wheel."
Great imagery... i just wish i knew what it meant :p
I think it has something to do with Kevin's battle with death (was it cancer? i think).
Actually, I think it's about him/his life. I could be wrong. It's a love song? Finding yourself..? Maybe it's about
someone who has been bad to another person and then..
"Suddenly things become unsound Stumbling upon the shaky ground "
and he realizes his mistakes with the help of a girl who makes him love her when she shwos him the "Beauty of the human heart "
and they live happilly ever after!!!! the end! ! ! ! ! (just kidding) (please someone HELP me with this!!!! it's driving me NUTS!!! )
I'm pretty sure that this song is referencing when he was sick.
"Things become unsound" - bad news of being sick.
"Saw a falling leaf, for good luck jump to grab" - It's good luck to catch a falling leaf and he's jumping for it because he needs good luck.
"Shivering madly in the dark Like an animal abandoned in the car park And she held me and then she showed me the Beauty of the human heart "
I'm pretty sure this is about being scare and alone in hospital room and having a nurse or someone comfort you and show you that you have this power inside of yourself that can get you through the lowest/hardest points in your life.
The hidden sun that's in all of us is this tremendous strength/power that we all have.
This song is one of the most meaningful and beautiful songs. It makes me tear up nearly everytime I hear it.
It sounds like it, right? It fits well with the post-death thing. but i think chandra's right.
first post...yep, songmeanings.net virgin...ewwww.
Anyway, this song is about his fight with cancer...lukemia to be exact, I'm pretty sure it was lukemia. Sorry, I'm a stickler for details on these things and wanted everyone to get it straight!
as BNL themselves put it, Kevin kicked cancer's ass!
love this song really do once again bnl writes a song that isnt necessarily about love, which most songs these day are all about. BNL ROX!
This is one of my favorite BnL songs. Why don't they let Kevin sing more?
Anyway, this song represents a transition in Kevin's life. He nearly died of Lukemia, and recorded an amazingly depressing album, H-Wing, while he was very sick. This song, on the other hand, is full of hope and beauty. It is a stunning song.
