Alien Youth Lyrics
It's been confirmed that the aliens have landed...
It's been confirmed that the aliens have landed...
World-wide Jesus domination,
Love conquers all!
Rise like the chosen generation,
There's no stoppin' it all!
Come all the freaks let's go!
Come on freaks let's go!
Get all the freaks, let's go!
(chorus)
We're takin' over the world,
We're the Alien Youth!
We're comin' for your souls,
We're gonna, we're gonna...
We're gonna change the world,
We're the Alien Youth!
We're takin' over, over, over...
Alien Youth!
Come all the freaks let's go!
Come on freaks let's go!
Do ya believe that the aliens have landed?
We're everywhere you go...
Infiltrate at the break of revolution,
You can't stop the Revival!
And we’re not gonna leave this world alone...
And we’re not gonna leave it yeah...
(chorus)
Come all the freaks let's go!
Get all the freaks, let's go!
Come all the freaks let's go!
Get all the freaks, let's go!
And we’re not gonna leave this world alone...
And we’re not gonna leave it yeah...
And we’re not gonna leave this world alone...
And we’re not gonna leave...
(chorus x2)

this song is all about how the world looks at us as "aliens." usually, aliens are looked at as foreigners, or as people who dont really belong in an area. i think john chose the analogy as us being aliens rather well. we have to use our 'alien' powers for the good, however, and go and totally throw our society upside-down for Jesus. we have to go like a "chosen generation" for Christ and be the light for him. i like how he adds at the end of the 1st verse "there's no stoppin it all" because with the power of Jesus coming through us to the people, we can go on forever, no sin can stop us because we have the power of God flowing from us. the other way he uses aliens, which i like, is as the little scary green things from other planets who are usually out to get us for the bad. but as the alien youth, we have to be the good aliens for Jesus and be out there for their "souls" as john puts it. we shouldnt have to leave this world alone at the coming of Christ. "And we're not gonna leave this world alone" states that we need to be out there encouraging our peers and family members and friends to come with us. dont leave this world alone, and become an alien for God
I agree
Let'go n' change the world
Yeah, one thing I'd add is the whole "In the world but not of the world" thing. We're aliens, and we have to look to heaven, which is our real home.
yeah, and what a home it will be, we are aliens to this world but we'll get home soon enough.

most definitely a good song
Yeah, there's no way around this one: the aliens are Christians. This song reminds me alot of the song "Take Me To Your Leader" by Newsboys.
The aliens are young Christians, more specifically. This song encourages young people to live the right life because we are looked down upon. Bible verses that go with this are in 2 Timothy 4
Does anyone else think this song alludes to the rapture?
The "Youth" part of "Alien Youth" has to do with how we are children of God and ought to have the faith of a child
My thought on this is that it is that Christian Youth are of a category unlike the traditional stuffy church crowd of the past, and thus they are the "freaks," but they also intend to "take over the world" by revolutionize the new generation of Christians.
