Okay...? Hum, wow now shhh I dont listen to trvais. I dont sit home alone crying to this song. (eek) But this song it amazing I love it, Thou i hate that it is so truthful trvais is so clever and i think that this song that shows it.
Loose Tongue's post makes sense.
I also see it as him not wanting to admit he is depressed, but is coming to terms with it as he says "What else could it be?"

I love this song and agree with the interpretation of Loose Tongue and C274. Just would like to add that I think that he still has little hope, this is what I gather from this line "be still don't stop until the end".

This is one of my favourie songs ever.
It's a perfect mixture of eery and beautiful.
Strangely and weirdly beautiful, it reminds me of The Nightmare Before Christmas :)
