Indefinitely Lyrics
Everyday in every way I’m falling
everything that everyone says turns me on/off
shine a light on me
so that everyone can see that I wanna stay here indefinitely
time exists but just on your wrist so don't panic
moments last and lifetimes are lost in a day
so wind your watches down please
cos there's no time to lose
and I’m goanna stay here indefinitely
and I wanna stay here so just let me be
now I can see the light circling round your reflection
and I’m goanna stay here indefinitely
and I’m goanna stay here so just let me be
indefinitely (X6)

so wind your watches down please

Fran (lead singer) has actually mentioned his theory behind some of this song... that everyone is always obsessed with time, what time it is... but time isn't what you end up remembering, just moments. Killer song, by the way! :)
The best lyric of any Travis song is 'Time exists just on your wrists, so don't panic. Moments last, and lifetimes are lost in a day.' It's all about getting out of the hectic rat-race and just living for yourself, because it could all be over tomorrow.
i agree with the time thing, but i pictured it as a dream. i just want to stay in this dream forever, where there is no time. PLus because at the end you hear an alarm clock or something, right?
I agree with Missbliss. I never pictured it can be about a dream but when I read the comment, I tought it would just fit right with the song. And with the alarm clock at the end...yeah I'm pretty sure it's about that.
to me, this song was always about wanting to drift away from reality. he's probably sleeping and he wants to forget time and fall away. a very relaxing song.
FAVORITE PART: [depends on mood]
must be one of the best songs on the album...together with last train
My gosh this song gets me teary eyed and goose pimples. The orchestral movements at the end make this an amazing song.
