As you expect here as the keys So come and go as you please What’s mine seems to be yours Welcome to my drawers Today I heard them say a funny thing They were happy you were clean You were headed for success in the mountains of excess Today you fail them Tomorrow more Maybe I’ll lend you some more cash Don’t have to play it back I can depend on you Dependent on everyone Why am I guilty of my bending back Over to breaking The object of some desire Too late Too late Today I’m saving you I must have finished my last care with that beer With some ideal I might win while losing That’s some mentality I have to finish talking I’m finished talking Today I heard a funny thing They were happy you were clean And you won’t be looking back to the one that helped you pack

this song rocks
helped someone get their life together and is gone un noticed, yet doesn't care.
um, kinda like what the last comment said but um, im confused?
someguy who helped someone else from rehab or something, and the one who helped didn't get all the credit he deserved?
as for my thoughts, one of the my many fav songs by them... i also like the 3 or 4? guitar chords that is played over and over as he sings
its about a druggie mate he tried to help, but he still fucked out, i think he's being sarcastic when he's saying "mabe ill lend u some more cash" etc, but yeah it sounds like he came right at the end
I love how poppy and happy the song feels even though its describing a drugged out friend who depends on him so much. The way Capre sings it makes it seem optimistic. "He won't pay me back...but that's okay."
Great lyricists these guys... Love the way they string their lyrics and great broad use of the english language. Inspirational song writing if you ask me..
Bloody legendary song. Gotta love Lagwagon.
