yes not just that. It's how about some mothers know what the father is doing to their child, but all they do it turn their face away. Like Gerti Rouge by The Distillers, all they can do it turn away, and your mother still excepts you to treat your father and everyone else kindly and politely.

The mother was even a psychologist, but she didn't do jack. Then Brody and her mother went to talk to the girl, who in the end committed suicide.
