Miracle

To me this song is about a lost love or love not even yet found. both have merit. Lost love because he says you never really know what it is until it goes, but if it comes again its a mircale, which is like the old saying set it free if it comes back its urs. but i also think alot of this is him trying to find the one. maybe he had a taste of it ( what i explained above) and somehow she left, and now he wants that feeling back whether it be with her or someone new. We all need love and all he is asking for is someone to be happy with, the miracle is almost a little sarcastic to me at least hes like im not asking for a miracle here only someone to love, but at the same time it seems like it would take a miracle to find her.

I think it's about a guy who's wondering if this certain girl could be the "miracle" we're all looking for. Maybe he broke up with her and now he's started to realize she's the one he really needs.

It's about someone tryin so hard to find that special girl.

You'd give up the life u were living right now to be with that woman u love. You really wait for so long and everybody wants to have someone special and it's so hard for u. It feels like it could take a miracle to find that right one.

hmm...to me this song is talking about someone who would do anything to find the perfect love. someone who would do anything, say anything, be anything, give anything, for the miracle of perfect love. but yet, this person can't have it. maybe because he (or she) thinks they found this miracle in another person, but that person is already taken...

this song perfectly describes my girlfriends' and i's relationship...we went out for like 3 months and then we broke up not realizing what we had. and then about a month later we got back together because we realized that we really love each other and when we werent together during that month we both realized "what it was" because "it had gone" so the part "you never really know, what it is not until it goes, and if it comes again, its a miracle" is exactly how we are and i consider her "my miracle from God" and yeah this is such an awesome song

Amazing song with a haunting melody/beat... personally applicable to me, so it holds a lot more meaning. One of my all-time favorites.

I think this song is about someone in a relationship who doesn't think the other person is the right person.

"Its taken so long to get it right. Would it be so wrong to maybe find someone, a miracle?"

Its taken so long for the relationship to work, and he is asking if it would be wrong to look for another person. Another person with that "thing" or "miracle."

"And all you really need is everything you could never be. And so you'd give it all up for a miracle."

He is saying that everything you want to be, you can't be because you are in a relationship. He would give the relationship up though if he found a girl with a miracle.

"Is there a trace inside her face of a lonely miracle? And so you wait and lie awake for a lonely miracle."

He is wondering if there is the miracle in his current girlfriend, but he knows there isn't. So during those sleepless nights, he wonders about and waits for the girl with a miracle.

"But what you miss is love and everything below and up above. And could she bring it all? A miracle?"

He probably doesn't feel the love in the relationship anymore, and is wondering if his girlfriend has the miracle or if there is someone else out there who can.

All he wants is that thing in a girl. He needs it, he yearns for it. He doesn't think his current girlfriend is fulfilling the yearning.

That is mostly the whole song. Beautiful song, with strong lyrics.

Personally, I think this song may be about someone who struggles to find love.

I can relate to the song in this way. Based on the first verse, its someone who has tried hard to find some one for them, and they are unable to because they aren't perfect in societys eyes, as in they aren't very good looking or the most out going person in the world.

" All you really need, is everything you can never be."

In the chorus maybe he meets a girl he likes who just may be the miracle he is searching for, and he would try anything to make something happen.

"Is there a trace inside her face, of a lonely miracle."

Thats what i think, i may be wrong but a good song none the less.

I think this song is about a guy who has given up to love after he lost it. And so now he is looking to many girls and sometimes like in the chorus, as he is so doubtful he starts to wonder if there's a trace inside that girl's face, of some love like the one he once knew...

It seems like this song was made to tell my life with a nice tune. Pretty cool

everyone says this song is boring but its probably my favorite.
