Sin City Lyrics

Diamonds and dust
Poor man last, rich man first
Lamborghinis, caviar
Dry martinis, Shangri-la
I got a burnin' feelin' deep inside of me
It's been burnin'
But I'm gonna set it free
I'm going in to sin city
I'm gonna win in sin city
Where the lights are bright
Do the town tonight
I'm gonna win in sin city
Ladders and snakes
Ladders give, snakes take
Rich man, poor man, beggarman, thief
You ain't got a hope in hell, yeah that's my belief
Fingers Freddy, Diamond Jim
They're gettin' ready, cause I'm comin' in
So spin that wheel, cut the crap, and roll those loaded dice
Bring on the dancin' girls and put the champagne on ice
I'm going in to sin city
I'm gonna win in sin city
Where the lights are bright
Do the town tonight
I'm going in to sin city

hell yes, this cover was excellent, AC/DC is the greatest rock band of all time, i smell someone who says corey taylor is better than Angus Young

Yeah, I know everyone loves AC/DC, and their instrumentals may have much merit . . . but I just can't get over the shitty vocals. And their songs don't move me. At all. Weird. Unlike Smashing Pumpkins, where I love a ton of their songs, but can't stand Billy Corgan's vocals. Yes. I'm a heretic.

I want to listen to this song--maybe then I'd have a right to say something. But I'd take Dexter's vocals any day over the original AC/DC vocals. No idea on the instrumentals, though.

You should listen to some old AC/DC albums with their former singer Bon Scott, a whole different sound then Brain Johnson. I just checked out this cover, but it doesn't get close to the "real thing".

Out of every song The Offspring has covered, I'd least expect this one. But I'm glad they chose this one---this is my favorite cover by them. This is really amazing. They did it this time, and though it doesn't sound like them (especially not at Conspiracy of One), it's amazing. Dexter's vocals are insane here.

You know how they say no cover is better than the original? I don't think this is better, maybe tied or something. But whoever said that "no AC/DC song is good" come on, seriously? Can you say that with a straight face? Plus, hate to say it, but I really do like Bon Scott more than Brian Johnson, and Bon sings on this one... and he does a phenomenal job. Thumbs up to both versions.
