Painted On My Heart

If you ask me, it is about a guy at a farmer's market who is trying to sell his chickens that he raised from little chicks and is having separation anxiety.... He also must double as a face painter at the market since he painted a likeness of the chickens on his chest (over his heart).

I first heard this song on the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds." I knew right then that I had to download it. Now, after having listened to the words, I love it even more. This song is obviously about a lost love. Although he would like to get her out of his mind, he cannot manage to do it. No matter what he does, he is still reminded of her.

That sounds like my own life.

What an amazing song...it really cuts into you! There's nothing like not being able to get over someone, especially when they've long since moved on. I also think this song fits perfectly in the movie Gone in 60 seconds except that in that case the girl still felt something for the guy...either way its a great song.

I first heard this song in the movie "Gone in 60 seconds". I cried at the end of the credits because of the words to this song. It was only b/c my ex-fiance and I had just called it quits a few months prior and I just felt this song in my soul. It's BEAUTIFUL...

You know, this song fits the part in the movie so well, when Memphis and (Angelina's character) are in the car, waiting to boost the car, and they're talking about their past.....the song is about them. I'd have to agree that it's about a lost love, that was just a great relationship, and now it's gone.
