Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go Lyrics
what the hell does the song mean? its great that you all are in love w/ wham!, their songs, and their gayness. But what does the song mean? The sight is songmeanings.net isnt it?
I like this song. I remember when I was little my sister liked this band a lot.
Oh I love this song. Such a nice and jolly, lively feel to it. "Wake me up before you go go" - he doesn't want to miss a thing, wants to be a part of it, go out, do stuff. Enjoy.
Because this song is so unbelievably flamboyant is what makes it so great!
I am 100& convinced that this song is about sex
@drabtofab I second that! lol

@drabtofab It's 100% not.

I'm guessing this song is about a guy who meets a girl/guy who's been cheating on him, but he doesn't care because he's so in love with him/her. That's what the lyrics suggest to me.
This song rocks. It always makes me happy upon hearing it. I used to think it was about a one night stand thing and the fella had fallen in love with the girl...or something. But whatever, this song is bubbly and bright. Always puts cheer in me, this one.
well I think this song is about a guy, who had a ONS, but fell in love with the girl. And so he don't want her to leave, without waking him up. And he's eager to go dancing again or just stay at home in bed with her. Thats it. pretty obvious innit?
I think this song is about him wanting her to wake him up before she goes out .. for ex: dancing .. not gay masterbation .. even if hes gay he wants the guy to wake him up before HE goes out.
AND Zoolander is an awesome movie :P
such an awesome feel good song. the song has a cleaver double meaning though, 1. wake me up before you leave me and never come back, but it also can mean wake me up before you go dancing as back in the 70's and 80's they had go-go girls who performed a style of dancing called go-go dancing so the term "take me dancing tonight" could mean wake me up before you go go dance (as it can be a bit promiscuous). great song, love it :)
