The lyrics to this song, while beautifully worded, are pretty straight forward. He is thanking someone for always being there for him and letting them know that he appreciates it.

okay this song is for sure about God. If you read in the bible it talks about how God is always there for us and that His grace will ease us of our fears and pain, and our cry will be heard. Then Chris is talking about how much he loves God for that.
No, it's not "for sure" about God. Chris wrote so many songs about his aunt (Ivadell) and his Brother (Matthew) that it's more likely that he is talking to one of them. One thing I love about Mineral (besides many many others things) is the universal meaning of their songs. So please don't reduce it to God, okay?! Thanks.
