Pure Massacre Lyrics

People dying for no reason at all,
Age is no difference or if you're large or small.

Families being torn apart.
Doesn't have to be this way.
Some people, just have no heart.
It's happening every day.

Pure massacre,
Pure massacre...

Machine guns pumping, hearts thumping,
Death is all around.
People crying for freedom,
No one hears the sound,

[Chorus]

There's people crying.
There's people dying.
But someone's taken it all, yeah.

[Repeat Last Verse]
[Chorus]

It's gonna be a pure massacre.
Yeah!

first of all, to me this song is about war crimes and genocide commited against innocent people. now onto bigger and better things. i'm a staff sergeant in the united states army's infantry and i'm currently deployed to yusufiyah, iraq AKA "the triangle of death." i did a tour in 2003-2004, another in 2005-2006, and i've been here since September of 2007, making this my third tour. let me send out a message to all of you little hippy pricks who bad mouth the war without knowing a thing about it. you all talk about "big bad america and how it is killing the innocent ppl of iraq" how wrong you are! you should be ashamed of yourselves for making accusations about a tough situation you have not done your research about. i have seen and done it all in the war in iraq. you are correct, innocent people die here. i have seen many of these instances and i can say, with my right hand raised and my left hand on the bible, that 99.8% of them are a result of actions made by the insurgents. i have seen mothers and their children wiped off the face of the earth by a roadside bomb that missed its target. children are decapitated here because the sheik of their village cooperated with the so called "infidels." make no mistake people, the people (if you would refer to them as such) that we fight would love nothing more than to see you dead because you believe in a different god. this war was necessary and just. you can blame bush all you want but the last time i checked the congress of the united states, which is elected by the people, gave him authorization to go to war. so in a sense, the american people voted for this war, so you have nobody to blame but yourself. in case you havent opened your eyes allow me to do it for you, the war on terror should just go ahead and be called the third world war. there is no grey area, you either denounce terrorism or you support it. if you support it you should be dealt with. i think it is sad that america, as well as the rest of the free world, has no stomach for the fight anymore and is content to sit back and watch innocent people be slaughtered. you want to tell me saddam didnt have weapons of mass destruction? dont tell me, tell the thousands of kurds he killed with them in northern iraq after the 1991 gulf war, or the thousands of iranians he gassed in the 1980's. oh wait....you cant because they're dead. innocent people are rarely injured due to american action. most of the time we dont even harm insurgents, terrorists that we find are 80% of the time detained and stand trial before a panel of iraqi judges. what other war in history has been so forgiving? american soldiers are the toughest in the world. they are in a place where people try to kill them but we are governed by more "rules of engagement" than any other serviceman in the world. our own people tell us we are wrong for defending ourselves and those around us. soldiers in a tough situation, 18-20 years old, have gone to jail for making split second, life or death decisions. where is the justice in that? that is how americans fight wars....we play by rules to preserve innocent life. all the while we watch our captured comrades brutally tortured and murdered, their mutilated bodies dragged through streets, on the internet. how many terrorist attacks have been carried out in the united states since the invasions in afghanistan and iraq? if you go to google right now and try to find any you won't. why? it's simple, the wars in afghanistan and iraq provide a frontline in a war that had none. instead of terrorists going to america to get off on watching americans die they come here. when they come here, though, they fight trained soldiers instead of innocent civilians. so you are welcome for keeping you, your family, and your friends alive. we have paid for it with our blood so enjoy it. think of these things the next time you want to say something. the more you bad mouth the war the more insurgents laugh at the lack of support we get. to them our lack of a spine for war is comical. they believe it is our unwillingness to fight that will help them win. i leave you with a quote from the great edmund burke. sleep well tonight, i'm here fighting for you. ne desit virtus (let valor not fail)! wolfpack13 out.

"All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." -- Edmund Burke

And whats your business in that country amigo? You have none, the terrorists of september 11th were all from amerikkas great friend Saudi Arabia....Death to your capitalist greed army. Jihad lives.

Seriously you two are so fucking stupid its insane. Wolfpack Saddam was an american ally when he gassed the Iranians. Its only when he invaded Kuwait that he became hated. And america is responsible for the death and suffering of millions and millions throughout the world. Whether its directly through war or the cia (which is in fact a full blown terrorist organisation if you consider the definition of terrorism) or indirectly through the capitalist greed and exploiation of american corporations. Malachi please dont praise jihad as radical muslims are a bunch of deranged lunatics who must be stopped. The way...

they were 16. yeah america sux!!! BOOOO!!!!

@Raw134 They were 15 when they went on tour so they were probably around 14 when they wrote it considering recording time etc. That being said. It's a great song about war in general and they are from Australia so it may have nothing to do with the US. Grow up. What were you doing around 14-16 years old. No matter how who put it. They were pretty freaking impressive for their age and in general. An incredibly underrated band. John daniels is so talented.

To me it fits well with a massacre in 95 that happened at port arthur. I dont think it fits with 9/11 as it was planes not guns. But the song is about any masacre
