In Transmission Lyrics
This sunlight cutting through the open fields.
Can't be communicated by radio waves.
And through this flashlight keyhole memory.
Receive a thousand signals and can't respond.
So keep your hands to yourself.
And relay the message to your friends that nothing's wrong.
Reverse reception on this lifeless satellite.
Push this button.
End the transmission.
So keep your hands to yourself
In this transit station reconnection to our lives.
In transit like my voice cutting through this line.
It's the same old song broadcasted on the radio.
Saying I'm not worth your time.
End the transmission.
This absence is making relations come undone it's breaking air waves I'm losing you in the transmission.
Can't be communicated by radio waves.
And through this flashlight keyhole memory.
Receive a thousand signals and can't respond.
And relay the message to your friends that nothing's wrong.
Reverse reception on this lifeless satellite.
Push this button.
End the transmission.
In this transit station reconnection to our lives.
In transit like my voice cutting through this line.
Saying I'm not worth your time.
End the transmission.

hey...no one's said anything about this one. well, I like it. but then, I just love everything thursday does. this song in particular is cool because it starts kinda quiet/mysterious/slow, then of course has the good thursday punch to it...gettin' louder, yellin'...yah, I'm listening to it this second. good song.
This is a really great song. Too bad they didn't play it live when i went to see them in Pittsburgh. This song could be interpreted many ways by me. Anyone know Geoff's theory to it?
This is my favourite Thursday song :)

end of a relationship maybe? i don't know, Thursday's songs are so good, poetic and such. I love Thursday to death. I want to see them live so bad. this song rocks.
so busy watching tv, listening to the radio, not talking to people we love, actually living. that's what i get from it
the last line pretty much sums it all up. One of the few thursday songs about relationships gone wrong but overcourse they outdid everyone else who tried. it's short and sweet, none of that whiney lost-girlfriend crap. bravo
they should have these poems in a textbook. you can analyze it so much, everyoneshould just read this stuff and be enlightened. thursday is one band that i want to see owning the charts because they deserve all the fame and fortune that they want, and i want everyone to have theyre minds and eyes opened a little from theyre music. thursday is my favorite band ever.
geoff is amazinggg. -sigh- haha
I wish they played the old stuff period... when I saw them, not one old song was played. I mean, it's just as good.
