All of Megadeth's songs smack you in the face with what they're about. If you can't figure out the meaning behind a Megadeth song, then you might as well be retarded. Anyway, this song is bad fucking ass! The guitar riffs were cool, and Dave's vocals were actually pretty good too.
Actually on the most basic sense, this song is about the Devil. That's how I view it, just at face value but I can see how it could be alcohol or drugs, with the exception of the chromosomes line and the fact that the chorus basically spells out that it's about the Devil.

The song may be about Satan. But I seriously doubt that Megadeth is praising Satan in anyway, shape, or form. It's probably just the opposite. Dave Mustaine is a Christian. In fact he refused to go on a tour his record company put together because he felt he couldn't tour with Rotting Christ and Dissection due to his beliefs.

This song IS about satan because when Dave says "The most beautiful angel" Satan in the bible is described of having extreme beauty to tempt people into fallowing him. But it does make sense if you relate the song to drugs or alcohol. Anyways Badasss song, probably the best song off of Risk.
