This song is about mastering the 5 magics in ordr to overthrow the evil prince-duh.
this is probably my favorite song off rust in peace, and that's definitely saying a lot...it's either between this or tornado of souls..

probably about dave's experiences when he's high on his drugs. the intro harmony/solo captures the wierdness well. the ending is cool too.
There are 2 possible meanings to this song 1 the speaker lives under the oppressive Abyss Lord so he tries to master the 5 Magics But the Abyss Lord already masterd the 5 Magics so the speaker fail and dies as derived from the line " He who lives by the sword Will surely also die".Or the speaker deafets the Abyss Lord but is corrupted by the power he now weilds and becomes the new Abyss Lord as derived from the line"He who lives in sin Will surely live the lie".Personally I prefer the latter.
Does anybody ever research? Eru-kun has it perfect. The speaker want to overthrow the oppressive Abyss King. To do this, he journeys to master the 5 magics, but in doing so, becomes evil and power-hungry just like the Abyss Lord he opposes. Since the Abyss King already knew the 5 magics, he wins the fight. The hero dies, don't be mistaken. Resistance is futile, huh? Nice dead-on shot though Eru-kun.
