I think this song is about a guy in love with a girl, and although it takes two to make a relationship work... it was mostly him.
"It was you and I... but mostly me" (love that line)
Anyone else find it interesting that the numbers he repeats are 6? Repeats it 3 times... 666, also the number of the devil/hell. >:-~

I agree with gen-g. We all have something we have lost that was so precious and important to us. Wishing it was still there, and wondring if you could have done anything to keep it, or fix it.
i think when they harmanize the chorus it makes the song 10x better
i love this song. it's really sad makes me cry a little bit but we've all had to let go of somebody....lots of people can releate. it just really gets me. i love it,though.

i think it's about a guy who was totally in love with a girl but something went wrong and he regrets losing her. i think it's a very meaningful love song in a cheasy way
Yeah I agree with Half Past Six. A lot of people can relate to this song because a lot of things go wrong in a relationship.
I think it is mostly about the singer getting over a girl that meant very much to him and he can't seem to forget her no matter how hard he tries! Basically he is lost in her, hence the title. I think most people can identify with the song. IT IS JUST AWESOME!
