They use the flag to control us
Brainwash us to be their patriotic slaves
Program our minds by controlling what we learn
The only difference from the Nazi's it that
Someone tried to stop them

Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
RED WHITE AND BRAINWASHED

The government says they'll work for us
Just as long was we increase their pay
But the minute they get into office we're a has-been
A yesterday

Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
RED WHITE AND BRAINWASHED

The red stands for the blood of all the people
we've slain
The white for the racist, bigoted foundation
The blue for your aryan eyes-- all empty
Empty because you're taught how to bow down to the man
"Fly that flag, that flag of freedom"
"Do what you can for your country"
Go and fight their wars for them
"They're not following in our footsteps,
KILL THEM!"

Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
RED WHITE AND BRAINWASHED

They call that being a patriot
Well I just call it ignorant
If you don't fight to make things better
Then you're the one betraying this country

Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
RED WHITE AND BRAINWASHED

Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white and brainwashed
Red white, red white
Red white and brainwashed

If we really want to start dismantling the power structure of the United States and give it back to the people, than I think we should look at who the REAL enemies are. The government is a tool for Big Business and economic elites. The rich, CEO's, and Corporations hold the real power in the U.S. Whatever they say goes, and the government knows this, and they follow their orders. If they take action that offends the business community, they will immediately stop. Just pay attention to our foreign policy. and to say that you hate "political punk songs" is fucking ridiculous. If you want to hear real fucking punk music, you aren't gonna listen to very many non-political punk bands, because that's kind of a paradox. Punk is dead, as Crass said. Punk is dead because now it's marketable and non-offensive. A major punk ideal was once Anarchy, sometimes referred to as Anarcho-syndacylism. This, essentially, ca be viewed as a "voluntary socialism", or a sort of "bottom to top" power structure, where the people hold power and rule is switched to a community-based, people-run power structure. Punk was founded on politcal thought, and it's a shame people contribute to the pile of shit now referred to as punk.
