mannn i love this song! basically he likes this girl and hes goin through a rough time and he needs her to be there but she won't and shes just walking away from him.. doesn't really want anything to do with him... and he doesn't get it & is saying how its not fair b/c he was there for her through hard times and will be there for her no matter what... so its just not making sense to him why she can't see what she's doing...

This song is dear to my heart now only because i"m feeling the very same way. This girl I'm head over heels for still has issues with her ex-fiance which hasn't been a part of her life in the last 2 years, but is the very thing that is preventing her from having a relationship with me. she's still scared of what he thinks of her and what he still says to her friends about her. i know that deep down inside she's still in love with him. maybe she's in love with the fact that she was once in love and doesn't want to get hurt again. i know it's on her mind more than she's let on, but she just doesn't want to talk to me about it. she needs to open up and tell me what's bothering her, because i know there's something on her mind that is making her freak out the way she does. girls are so neurotic sometimes...

oh this is so my song! this song means that he's tried so hard to be able to be as close as possible to this girl, but she keeps running away because she can't admit to herself that she wants him. she's afraid to get caught up in something with him, even though he's giving his all to her. she just doesn't realize what she's missing yet- and he's trying to show her.

In my opinion this song means that... there is this guy and him and his g/f are broken up and he wants to know why she left him, he helped her out and was going to do anything for her, he still wanted to be there for her but she didnt...This song made me cry when i heard it cause of what me and my ex just went through.

This song is absolutely incredible. I recently went through a breakup that just killed me, and this song was constantly playing through my head. I had dated a girl who told me that I was the only one for her because she could only be who she truly wanted to be when she was with me. I always told her the truth and I expected her to do the same. We dated for over a year and then I found out she had been lying to me for months...but I forgave her. Because I couldn't let things go with one mistake; everyone deserves a second chance.

Anyway, about a month later she broke up with me and refused to give me a reason why. She just ran away and refused to have anything to do with me. It turns out she left me to become a completely different person than she had been...and not in a good way. Yet, despite all I had done for her, she couldn't tell me the truth, even though she knew it tore me apart to not have a reason for the breakup. This song summed up my feelings perfectly because it so accurately describes the feeling of pain, betrayal, and the desire of truth. That pain kinda never goes away...

But hey, that's life for you. The strongest person isn't the person who never gets hurt; it's the person who can come back from unbearable pain and be better than they were before it.
