This song shows the arrogance of many people, and how it comes back to bite them in the ass. I hate people who flaunt all their riches and shit. I think these people need to be taught what they are doing is so annyoing and not worth it. So everyone who reads these lyrics and this comment, just remember, whether you have it or not, you are not a someone until you establish what is real and what is just a materialistic way.

I love this song, prob one of my favorite on the album. i read somewhere doug wrote this with some jock guy from high school in mind. this guy used to pick on him and stuff in high school and than a few years back the guy saw him at a show and acted like they were lifelong buddies and this song was basically a big f*ck you man.
This is one of my favorite songs. I believe it was either of a person/group he wanted to be part of or a girl he wanted to be with. They laughed in his face. But they were shto down from their aloof visions and now they went him. And he's saying no

this is a great song. my favorite from hobbastank. Second favorite is peices. lifeurlife was right. thats what the song is about. except the singer was in a grocery store i believe, and the jock went up to him and hes like hey whats up, wana hang out etc. so thats what this song is about
