In a recent track-by-track with Rocksound.TV, Michael Poulson stated that “It goes without saying that you’ve got to live while you’re here. My father always said, ‘Michael, while you are awake, be useful,’ and he was right. Let’s be productive so we can be proud of ourselves and help each other. We need to do stuff while we’re capable of doing it instead of just sinking on the couch and not caring about anything. At the same time, the lyrics open up and address how I feel when I am struggling with a situation and I have to work my way around it. Life is precious, and you have to grab it by the balls and be fueled by the fire rather than let the fire burn out. Let’s bring on the fire while we are still alive.”
