In a recent track-by-track with Rocksound.TV, Michael Poulson stated what this song is about. “The laws, rules, systems, guidelines and religions that are put in front of us are always being broken by the ones who create and enforce them. What are we to do other than be skeptical and overprotective and go against the most obvious motherfuckers? It has almost come to a point where you’re asking if the rules are only for fools. We are trying to make our kids believe that everything is okay and that they are safe, but outside the door in the real world, the Devil is looking in. Sometimes we cannot see the Devil in front of us because it’s camouflaged as a human. All evil is created by mankind, and it finds a way to wear a mask, just like the goat on the album cover represents the Devil, which itself was created by mankind to cover up their egocentric, evil agenda. The goat should sue mankind for being made a symbol of evil and putting up with this shit for so many years!”
