The song’s title is a phrase commonly used in association with Them Crooked Vultures, a ‘super’ group comprised of Josh Homme(their current frontman), Dave Grohl (their former drummer, also Nirvana drummer & Foo Fighter frontman), and John Paul Jones (bassist/keyboardist led zeppelin). ‘Made to Parade’ was found printed on the t-shirts made for the group, poking fun at the definition of a parade, which is typically a procession in a public place in order to “show off” or be seen.
