Yeah, haha
Gerry, RITTYBO, I got you
Haha, yeah

Ever since you left the city, you
You can't seem to make up your mind (ayy)
Miss the town, I wish that it were still '06
I wanna backtrack like we ain't lost time (yeah), yeah
But ever since I ever left the city, I
I took mama shopping on Rodeo Drive (ayy)
Reset the Rolex and switch time
Time has passed, now I'm a different vibe (ayy)
And now the path that you're on is goin' nowhere
If I don't text you, don't mean that I don't care (it don't)
I still got some feelings for you with some hope there (for real)
Could see us gettin' back but you ain't trying to go there (you ain't tryna go there)
You know that I got you, after all that we been through
Better act like you know who (yeah)
Someone said I don't love you, you been lied to (ayy)
Man, these streets won't love you like I do (yeah)

Ever since I left the city, you
You can't seem to make up your mind
Never wanna be there for me
But you only always take my time
Ever since I left the city, I
Well, I can't deny
Even though I say, "I don't care", I still pray for you every night
You know that I got you, better act like you know who
These streets just don't love you like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do (straight up), like I do (you know)
Love you like I do (yeah)

Somehow, still, I want you
Crazy how old memories, they haunt you
Didn't have it, now I got Saint Laurent shoe
Still tryna figure what point I lost you
Was chasin' the wrong thing
Wrong crowd with the drama that they all bring
It's the same song and dance that they all sing
You're a queen, hope you never choose the wrong king
Is you mine? I ain't tryna buy the wrong ring
Both knew that we was more than a long fling
But you got lost in this world, tryna find you
Man, these streets won't love you like I do (yeah, yeah)

Ever since I left the city, you
You can't seem to make up your mind
Never wanna be there for me
But you only always take my time
Ever since I left the city, I
Well, I can't deny
Even though I say, "I don't care", I still pray for you every night
You know that I got you, better act like you know who
These streets just don't love you like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do, like I do
Love you like I do (straight up), like I do (you know)
Love you like I do (yeah)

There, what ya need when you call me
Freaky in the bed when you need me (uh)
There, what ya need when you call me
Freaky in the bed when you need me (uh)
Ayy, rock with me, baby
'Cause I don't wanna fall in love with you maybe
Ayy, rock with me, baby
'Cause I don't wanna fall in love with you maybe

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
