Don't think that I've forgotten
cll the ways you did me wrong
But my friends are tired of hearing
'Bout how you are Satan's spawn

So I've done a lot of thinking
cnd I wanna wish you well
Just to prove how much I've grown
Since I told you to go to hell

I want you to be happy
Just not quite as happy as you
Could have been if you had stayed with me

cnd I hope that you're successful
Like, maybe not your dream job
But a really solid second choice
With a smaller salary

cnd I know one day you'll meet a girl
I bet she'll be dumb
cnd average-looking
So when I compare myself to her
I won't feel so sad
cbout what we might have had
That would make me happy

On Instagram I've hidden
How much I have been a mess
I post pictures with mimosas
Captioned "I'm so #blessed"

I confess that I've been lying
It's time that I come clean
Cuz I've really turned a corner
Let me tell you what I mean

I want you to be happy
Just not quite a happy as I
Plan on being with somebody else

cnd oh, he'll be successful
But doing what he loves
Cuz unlike you he knows that there is
So much more to life than wealth

cnd when you find out I met a guy
I bet you'll get drunk
cnd then try to call me
But I'll tell you I don't have the time
To hear your regrets
Because I couldn't care less
That would make me happy

cnd screw it
Why do I have to pretend that
I want the best for you?
Cuz if I'm being honest
That is so far from the truth

Cuz you deserve to be unhappy
cnd if there's any justice
Karma's coming soon to
Bite you in the ass

Cuz we had something awesome
cnd if you couldn't see it
Well then you should pause this song
To go and have your dumb eyes checked

cnd when you finally realize
That you had it good
When we were together
It will be too late to make it right
I won't want to make up
Because I won the break - up
That would make me happy
Yes that would make me happy

This song is hilarious in comparison to her more serious songs. It was such a shocking surprise that made my day. If you don't crack a smile, I might find you questionable.

Fortnight
Taylor Swift
The song 'Fortnight' by Taylor Swift and Post Malone tells a story about strong feelings, complicated relationships, and secret wishes. It talks about love, betrayal, and wanting someone who doesn't feel the same. The word 'fortnight' shows short-lived happiness and guilty pleasures, leading to sadness. It shows how messy relationships can be and the results of hiding emotions. “I was supposed to be sent away / But they forgot to come and get me,” she kickstarts the song in the first verse with lines suggesting an admission to a hospital for people with mental illnesses. She goes in the verse admitting her lover is the reason why she is like this. In the chorus, she sings about their time in love and reflects on how he has now settled with someone else. “I took the miracle move-on drug, the effects were temporary / And I love you, it’s ruining my life,” on the second verse she details her struggles to forget about him and the negative effects of her failure. “Thought of callin’ ya, but you won’t pick up / ‘Nother fortnight lost in America,” Post Malone sings in the outro.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
