You’ve told me about your dreams more times than I can count
But it seems to me that talk is what you’re all about
We’re in this together yet I feel I’m all alone
If you’ll stay this way you might as well just sit your ass at home
I’m sorry but I won’t leave my fate in your hands
And I’ve bled too much just to let you piss it all away

I swear back then I thought I needed you
Nowadays I really think I’m better off without you
And I’ve had enough
Of all your “bad luck”
Cause I figured out
You’re taking the easy way out
Don’t you know that luck is for losers?

Soon you’ll be on your way to disappointment
When reality and adversity won’t let you through
Take your own advice and stop waiting for nothing
I’ve learned that I don’t deserve what I never earned
I’m sorry but whining won’t get you anywhere
And unlike you I’m all out of excuses

I swear back then I thought I needed you
Nowadays I really think I’m better off without you
And I’ve had enough
Of all your “bad luck”
Cause I figured out
You’re taking the easy way out
Don’t you know that luck is for losers?

Why do you put the blame on me?
When you cause your own misery
And you're the one who still won't face
All of your mistakes
Look in the mirror then maybe you'll understand

Why I’ve had enough
Of all your “bad luck”
Cause I figured out
You’re taking the easy way out
Don’t you know that luck is for losers?
And when the going gets tough
Then I get going
Cause there's no doubt
I'm not taking the easy way out
Don't you know that luck is for losers?

This is one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite bands. I think it is about someone who wants to accomplish their dream, for example a musician, but doesn't want to work for it.

You’ve told me about your dreams more times than I can count But it seems to me that talk is what you’re all about (your always talking about being the next big thing but you never work for it.

We’re in this together yet I feel I’m all alone If you’ll stay this way you might as well just sit your ass at home I’m sorry but I won’t leave my fate in your hands And I’ve bled too much just to let you piss it all away (i wont rely on someone else to get something done for me because I know from experience that you are lazy.)

I swear back then I thought I needed you Nowadays I really think I’m better off without you (you are causing me more harm than good)

And I’ve had enough Of all your “bad luck” (im sick of everything in your life never being your fault, its always bad luck)

Cause I figured out You’re taking the easy way out Don’t you know that luck is for losers? (have you ever seen a big star that didn't do anything and just coast through in life? no? that because only losers do that)

Soon you’ll be on your way to disappointment When reality and adversity won’t let you through (things are about to get bad for you because you have no willpower to get through any obsticals)

Take your own advice and stop waiting for nothing (your waiting but what are you waiting for) I’ve learned that I don’t deserve what I never earned I’m sorry but whining won’t get you anywhere And unlike you I’m all out of excuses (i realized that not trying and whining is not going to do anything for you and its going to end you up a loser living with your mom)

Why do you put the blame on me? When you cause your own misery And you're the one who still won't face All of your mistakes Look in the mirror then maybe you'll understand (i didnt to shit to you and u r the one who did it to yourself)

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
