I never thought about the people we passed
Until we had to grow up
Until we had to stand tall

Did you believe what they taught us as kids?
Did you discover the joy?
Did it work out as you planned?

Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started

I can feel my whole world changing
Softly in the morning sun
I can feel my old life fading
Tell me now, tell me now

The dirt on the walls, behind the old cinema
We used to kiss in the dark, before we knew what we were
Isn't it strange how it was us versus them?
When it was us on our own, when it was us all along

Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started
Yeah I know, yeah I know it's started

I can feel my whole world changing
Softly in the morning sun
I can feel my old life fading
Tell me now, tell me now

Hey I'm nothing
No I really am nothing without you
Hey I'm nothing
No I really am nothing without you

We took a ride
We took a ride
We took a ride
We took a ride

We took a ride, ride, ride with the devil
Ride, ride, ride with the devil
Ride, ride, ride with the devil
Ride, ride, ride with the devil

I can feel my whole world changing
Softly in the morning sun
I can feel my old life fading
Tell me now, tell me now

Hey I'm nothing
No I really am nothing without you
Hey I'm nothing
No I really am nothing without you

Ministry
Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
