[Verse 1]
Well it was just
5 guys on a night out (Oh)
Looks like they could box your lights out
Insatiable hunger
Looking for the one they could take home right now
They're all getting salty
Wanna be sonic, but they're not fast enough
Wanna be that Mac Daddy
But this game of thrones is just too tough

You can't be the king if you taste like shit
The other 4 guys don't mind a bit
And these Randy Bo Bandy's are so demanding
Knock that pat flat but I'm still standing
Wendy's just another silly girl I knew but those days are all long gone
If you were right the first time then how could you be wrong?

[Chorus]
Oh, you're 23 years old now
Stick with what you know
The burger joint just down the road seems like the place to go
Oh, it's comfortable and inviting and it won't tell you lies
I want that bacon cheeseburger with those damn good fries

[Verse 2]
Well I was just
Feeling kinda greasy
Backstreets feels kinda sleazy
Prices hiked as high as your tights
And I can't help just feeling queasy
Thank God it's Friday
Said nobody ever as we all flew out the door
Acting up like a dairy queen and a size queen's always wanting more
KFC more like JFC
I wanna try something new to me
In with excitement, out with scoff
This disappointment can fudd ruck off
Annie might be fun, but I'll never shack
If I die before then of a heart attack
If there's never a first time
Then how can I come back?

[Chorus]
Oh, you're 23 years old now
Stick with what you know
The burger joint just down the road seems like the place to go
Oh, it's comfortable and inviting and it won't tell you lies
I want that bacon cheeseburger with those damn good fries

[Outro] x4
Have your burger however you like
No I don't mind, no I don't mind
I'm just looking for the right one for me
Don't care how it long it takes to find
However you like
No I don't mind, no I don't mind
I know she's the right one for me
Takes the stress away from the daily grind

    Song Meaning

This is a song about a man and his carnal love for burgers. To the untrained ear, it may seem like a metaphor for a very special young lass, but I can ASSURE you, it is not. In the description of the song on YouTube on the artists channel, it says "It's a song about burgers and maybe relationships who knoooows???" Notice the key word here, which is "and." If it was indeed about a girl, it would have said OR relationships. Mr. Ashcorp's using of the word "and" indicates he must have meant a relationship WITH a burger.

While some may find this unbelievable, even crude, it is no different than somebody loving a person. The concept of people loving inanimate objects dates back to the late 1700s, with the first recorded marriage of a human to an object being on June 17, 1979, the day the wedding between Eija-Riitta Eklöf and The Berlin Wall, her one true love and soulmate. In 1996, she started the first website dedicated to the lifestyle of Objectum Sexuality (OS). It was from there that she united people around the world who shared these feelings, and adopted the symbol of their way of life, the red fence.

From said website it reads: “Fences exist throughout society. We put them up to protect ourselves but not to shut people out. One can look over a Fence and see what’s on the other side. If the grass is indeed greener or not… this we decide for ourselves.” The love and compassion of this great woman to her fellow brothers and sisters is what made the OS community what it is today.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
