My baby's got a gun and she's pointed it at my head
My brother's got a knife and it's at my throat
They said they want my money but I said but I ain't got none, babe
So they made off with my guitar and my coat

My friend set me up with a girl it was a blind date
He said with this one you better take her lunch
I met her on the steps at the station it was windy
I couldn't believe it she looked like one of the hairband bunch

My mate's got a garage it's full of stuffed animals
I snuck in there once and I stole a cat
I put it on the windowsill but it fell down to the floor, babe
The old man with the lawnmower he run over it

I think I'll stay on these chords a little while, babe
I think I kind of like the way that they flow
I don't think I'll deviate much from the melody line
I think I kind of like the way that it goes

I once killed a baby before it was born, babe
I don't think it's murder it's up to us isn't it
I didn't think about the consequences just didn't want a kid, nah
Don't give me that right on crap I don't need that shit

You said you don't go out but you're out every night, girl
It's just that you're not out every night with me
You said you've got a problem but there ain't nothing wrong with you, girl
You're looking for attention but you just can't getting any

My baby's got a gun and she's pointed it at my head
My brother's got a knife and it's at my throat
They said they want my money but I said but I ain't got none, babe
So they made off with my guitar and my coat

I don't care and I just don't give a damn
I think a lot but it's not about you, girl
You suck me off but I can't come in your mouth

You're looking good but it's not good enough for me
You tried hard but the slope's kinda slippery
I don't like [??] or Dostoyevsky

I don't care and I just don't give a damn
I think a lot but it's not about you, girl
You suck me off but I can't come in your mouth

Dreamwalker

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
