Out of My Hands Lyrics
Take it out of my hands
And let it fly
I'm not afraid to die
Not afraid to die
Lift it out of my heart
And see it shine
We are only ever alive
Only ever alive
When the leaves are falling
To the ground
They don't make a sound
They don't make a sound
So take me where I can meet
The familiar unknown
We are always ever home
Always ever home
When my thoughts no longer
Drift around
I can see a shadow wall
Come tumbling down
And let it fly
I'm not afraid to die
Not afraid to die
And see it shine
We are only ever alive
Only ever alive
To the ground
They don't make a sound
They don't make a sound
The familiar unknown
We are always ever home
Always ever home
Drift around
I can see a shadow wall
Come tumbling down

This song kind of reminds me of "Ready to Go Home", in that it sounds like a song of a person who is ready to accept their fate, and is weary of life. That's just the feeling I've got from it. I'm sure other people have different views of the song.
@AkibaRed Actually, I don't feel that it's about being weary of life, in reference to my previous comment. It could just be a person who is willing to accept fate, or they are looking to reflect on life before they move on to better things/pass away (So take me where I can meet the familiar unknown/We are always ever home/Always ever home).
