Stargirl Interlude Lyrics
[Verse: Lana Del Rey]
I had a vision
A vision of my nails in the kitchen
Scratching counter tops, I was screaming
My back arched like a cat, my position couldn't stop you were hitting it
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, (I love it), Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
[Outro: The Weeknd]
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I had a vision
A vision of my nails in the kitchen
Scratching counter tops, I was screaming
My back arched like a cat, my position couldn't stop you were hitting it
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, (I love it), Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
And I shouldn't cry, but I love it, Starboy
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl
I just want to see you shine 'cause I know you are a Stargirl

Somewhere described this as "Lana Del Rey imagines an erotic encounter" and it seems like exactly that.
They seem to be doing something on the kitchen bench, she's screaming, scratching the bench top, back arched, she couldn't stop, they were hitting 'it'.
What I dont get though is the "I shouldn't cry, but I love it..." is she crying out of pure ecstasy for the feeling? or is she crying because she's only imagining it, and wishes it were true. And even though she's crying cause its not real, she just loves imagining it?
But then I also don't get "I just wanna see you shine cause I know you are a stargirl". But that might just relate to the other songs on the album...
